For a number of months, musicians from Coram Deo have been hard at work recording three original songs that we sing in our worship services. You can hear those songs on the Through the Valley EP wherever you listen to music online.
I’m thrilled with how these recordings turned out and I’m excited to finally share them with you. Many people contributed to making this recording project a reality and if you're curious who, there's a list at the bottom of this post. Thanks so much to each one of you! You all absolutely killed it. A special thanks as well to my family, who graciously put up with my hyper-focus on getting this project done and allowed me to spend the time required to do it well.
To the rest of you, I hope that God uses these songs to encourage you as you walk through whatever season he has you in.
He is with you in the valley.
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD
