The Ten Commandments

Exodus 20:17

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male servant, or his female servant, or his ox, or his donkey, or anything that is your neighbor’s.”

Call to Worship

Psalm 112:1–6

Praise the LORD!
Blessed is the man who fears the LORD,
who greatly delights in his commandments!
His offspring will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.
Wealth and riches are in his house,
and his righteousness endures forever.
Light dawns in the darkness for the upright;
he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.
It is well with the man who deals generously and lends;
who conducts his affairs with justice.
For the righteous will never be moved;
he will be remembered forever. (ESV)

Prayer of Repentance

Lord, forgive us for seeking other things before Your son and His kingdom. May we lay aside the weight of discontentment. In Your grace remind us that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Remind us You work all things for the good of our salvation and we  have no need to fear. In Your grace may we consider the birds and consider the lilies, and remember how You care for creation and are faithful to care for us. Help us to seek Your kingdom. We pray these things in Jesus' name. Amen

Benediction

May your soul bless the LORD all the days of your life. With that is within you, may you bless His holy name. May you never forget the benefits of Him who forgives all your sins, heals all your diseases, and redeems your life from the pit. May the LORD satisfy your years with good things and crown your life with His steadfast love and tender mercies forever. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen!
