Genesis 1:27

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Psalm 106:36–37

[36] They served their idols,
which became a snare to them.
[37] They sacrificed their sons
and their daughters to the demons; (ESV)

Call to Worship

Psalm 144:1–4

[1] Blessed be the LORD, my rock,
who trains my hands for war,
and my fingers for battle;
[2] he is my steadfast love and my fortress,
my stronghold and my deliverer,
my shield and he in whom I take refuge,
who subdues peoples under me.
[3] O LORD, what is man that you regard him,
or the son of man that you think of him?
[4] Man is like a breath;
his days are like a passing shadow. (ESV)

Prayer of Repentance

Almighty God, you freely pardon all who repent and turn to you. Now fulfill in every contrite heart the promise of redeeming grace; forgiving all our sins, and cleansing us from evil consciences, through the perfect sacrifice of Christ Jesus our Lord. Amen.

Benediction

May the LORD, who formed every life in His image awaken your heart to the dignity of all human life. May His Spirit convict where sin has blinded, heal where guilt has wounded, and fill you with courage to speak and act in love. May you stand firm against the darkness of abortion, trusting in Christ who promises to one day wipe away every tear. In the strong name of Jesus, Amen.
