Scripture
John 20:24–29
[24] Now Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. [25] So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord.” But he said to them, “Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.”
[26] Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.” [27] Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe.” [28] Thomas answered him, “My Lord and my God!” [29] Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” (ESV)

Prayer of Repentance
Almighty God, we praise you and give you thanks for Christ’s victory over sin and death. We are undeserving, but his death has atoned for our sin and brought your forgiveness to us. His resurrection has opened to us the door of abundant and everlasting life. May the power that raised our Savior from the dead work in us, raising us from the death of sin to newness of life. Our despair is changed to triumph, our fears to hope. May we show the risen Christ to the world in all we do. In his living name we pray. Amen.

Benediction
May the risen Lord Jesus, who conquered death and rose victorious, meet you in every doubt and question today. May His Spirit open your eyes to see that He truly died for your sins and rose in power, so you may confess Him as your Lord and God. May you believe in the living Christ, receive His life, and walk in the joy and peace of His resurrection In the name of Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord, Amen.
